 The EAA staff at the Gruenhagen Conference Center is currently accepting applications for workers during the Oshkosh AirVenture convention held July 24th – July 30th.  We have openings for Desk Receptionists and Guest Reservationists.

 

Job Description:
Provide exemplary customer service to make for an outstanding UW Oshkosh AirVenture lodging experience for the guest.

Job roles will be in the form of Desk Receptionist or Guest Reservationist.  Hired staff team members will be assigned to one of the roles based on interest and experience.

Desk Receptionists check guests in and out of assigned rooms, maintain hall rosters and linen information, key inventory and control, answer the telephone, give directions and provide information about the university and city.

Guest Reservationists process new reservations, modify existing reservations, answer the telephone and generally assist the guests with the registration process.

Staff team members should enjoy directly working with people and enjoy helping make the guest lodging experience outstanding.  Team members should be detail-oriented, be able to use effective communication, effective computer skills, and work well under pressure.  Prior front desk and/or cash handling experience are a plus.

Pay Structure:
Staff will be paid by stipend for their entire time worked. Pay will be scaled based on the placement of staff and the number of days/hours expected to work.

Compensation:
7+ Days of Employment: 8 hours per day

$500 for 7 Days of Work
$50 per Day for Each Additional 1-2 Days Worked
$75 per Day for Each Additional 3-5 Days Worked

Must work full 8 hour days; if less than 8 hours per day, pay will be adjusted $10 per hour less than eight.

Hours:
Desk Receptionists:  3 Shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

Guest Reservationists:  Various shifts to cover 24 hours a day

Team members will work approximately 5-12 days between July 20th and August 2nd based on their responsibilities and their building open and close dates.

Requirements:
Must be enrolled in at least 3 credits for the summer or at least 6 credits for the fall semester at an accredited college or university.  If a non-UWO student, proof of enrollment will be required.

Must be 18 years or older.
